Authorities Look to Solve 2007 Murder in Glassboro, NJ
Authorities are putting up billboards in New Jersey and surrounding states in the hopes of getting more information on a cold case from 2007 by offering a substantial reward of $100,000 if the information leads to a conviction in this case. A New Jersey college student had been killed in a mugging on the Glassboro campus over homecoming weekend. He had been kicked and punched during the attack. He passed away the following day because of a ruptured artery in his neck.
He had been walking with friends when they were approached by another group asking for directions to a party. The victim shared the directions, and then was attacked by two men. The attack left him with head and severe stomach trauma.
Authorities hope that putting up these billboards will help jog the memory of someone who has the information that they need to find a suspect to investigate this murder and find out who committed this act. This would finally give closure to the family, and help to see that justice is done.
