Attorney Carl Taylor
Carl Taylor, Esq., joined the firm after sixteen years in private practice. Carl is the former municipal prosecutor and municipal public defender of over a dozen towns, the former Deputy County Counsel for Somerset County, New Jersey, and the former Township Attorney for East Amwell Township, New Jersey. Carl has successfully represented numerous businesses, insurance companies, government entities, school boards, and individuals across his career. Carl is the former Trustee of the Somerset County Bar Association and the Somerset County Bar Foundation. Carl is also an avid writer, having authored articles for venues including the New Jersey Law Journal, Law360, and the ABA Judge’s Journal. Carl’s book “Happily Even After: The Guide to Divorce in New Jersey” was originally published in 2019 and is currently in its Third Edition. Carl also brings nearly two decades of extensive family law experience to the firm, including successfully representing dozens of clients in final restraining order hearings. That experience now helps Carl in representing clients facing allegations of serious criminal matters, DWI and municipal court matters, and restraining order allegations throughout New Jersey. Carl resides in Burlington County with his wife and two daughters, and when he is not working or spending time with his family you can find him getting overly invested in the latest Phillies season. Carl is a 2009 graduate of Rutgers-Camden School of Law.
